REASONS COMMUNICATION IS THE CENTER JOB OF A LEADER

Leadership requires many parts, however, my subjective opinion about the most critical has to be communication!

Sixty percent of a leader’s job is centered on communication. Leadership communication is imperative to relay information about vision, culture, core values, mission, and other crucial messages required to build trust and encourage following. In practice, communication involves delivering a shared vision and inspiring others to buy into that vision.

Effective communication skills also help foster an open and good rapport between leaders and their team, which also increases trust, efficiency and productivity.

Communication is a vital component to leadership. Therefore, to make proficient progress, a leader must be a compelling and persuasive and effective communicator.

I have discovered four aspects of leadership communication from studying organizations at all levels and I believe vehemently that effective leadership communication is built on the following key factors:

– Accountability
– Training
– Tools
– Evaluation
